I have tried blogging before, but without a specific goal in mind, I have been generally unsuccessful.

However, for the first time in a long time, I have a New Year’s Resolution: to have my plate on the wall at Flying Saucer, a goal that requires drinking 200 different beers.  While I already have 78 beers on my account, the remaining 122 beers will give me plenty to write about.  Plus, I will have some opportunities to discuss other beer opportunities – beer tastings, brewery trips, quality beer selections, etc.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do not enjoy wheat or Belgian style beers.  That does not mean that I will not find one that I like from time to time, but you will not often find them reviewed on this site.  However, I will take any recommendations of these, or any other, type of beer.
